Hello everyone,

I have added a few more links to the Christensen Links page. I hope they will be helpful to those of you doing research.    

James Christensen (Earsel's) made contact with me through the web site 'Find A Grave" where we both have accounts. We discovered that we are first cousins once removed, his father being my cousin.  We mentioned the possibility of sharing information and I gave him the address of this web site.  James was very excited about  the photos and the links posted here that  he had not seen before.  James also has a Private web site on Geni.com   where he added my  name to his tree and then invited me to join. 

 James web site is Private,  so he can include living people.  Making it  possible to see each other as cousins and descendants of  Rasmus and Nancy Melvina Christensen and easily see our relationship to each other.  Which is Way  Ccol.

My web site is a Public, so I have to be careful about adding much information on the living, because of identity  theft  and privacy..  I focus on the direct line ancestors and also photos and such of other family members  that  have passed away.  I have stuff on side lines that will probably never make it to my web site due to lack of space availability and public interest.

I plan to add a link, to James's Geni site, but you need a pass word to sign in.

Some new features have been added to the site between now and when I last wrote in the blog.  I have added two new pages.  This is where I will put most of the stuff that other people share with me, as well as some of my own research.

 The page called 'More Christensen and Tripp Stuff' will contain Digital Images.  These images may not work well on the other pages, but they can be shared here.  Other people can share Images here as well. 

The page called 'My Shared Files' are things that are not Digital Images, This will possibly be  histories, Gedcom, genealogy insights, or other things that can be sharred.  The draw back is that you have to down load these to your own computer in order to view what is on the shared files. 

 To submit things to these pages you may contact the web creator by using the Guest book & Blog.
